Auto-Maskin introduces the RP 420E Remote Panel, the latest addition to the proven Marine Pro 400 Series of engine control solutions. Purpose-built for marine engine applications, the RP 420E provides robust remote monitoring and control while ensuring future compatibility with hybrid and fully electric propulsion systems.
The RP 420E is an IACS-approved, cyber-secure touchscreen panel designed for twin-engine configurations with Marine Pro 200 or 400 Series DCUs. Its self-configuring functionality allows it to instantly reflect any configuration changes made in the connected DCUs, removing complexity and reducing commissioning time.
With a sunlight-readable high-resolution display, rugged glass-helm design, and full front (IP66) and rear (IP56) weather protection, the panel is engineered for dependable operation in demanding marine environments. Operators benefit from clear data visualization, a multilingual interface, and the ability to monitor and control both propulsion and gensets from a single screen.
“The RP 420E reinforces Auto-Maskin’s commitment to safe and reliable engine control, while also preparing customers for the industry’s transition toward hybrid and fully electric propulsion,” said Henning Bredesen, Director Sales & Marketing. “It combines ease of installation, intuitive operation, and future-proof flexibility in one compact solution.”
For installations requiring larger displays or the ability to control more than two DCUs, Auto-Maskin also offers the RP 480i Remote Panel, featuring a 12″ touchscreen and support for up to eight engine controllers.
